Jobs Work Peer Internship
Pay: From $7.85 to $9.30/hour DOE
Job Summary:
Plans and attends a two-level training program prior to starting the snow cone, food truck, and other job placement duties under the supervision of hte Jobs Work Program Coordinator. This is a paid position specifically for young adults ages 16-24.
Qualifications:
No experience necessary, but motivated to learn and grow within the program.

Responsibility of Job Duties:
- Listening and working close with coworkers and supervisor
- Open to receiving feedback, and following through the necessary changes
- Must complete onsite Job Orientation, Food Handlers Certification, CPR/First-Aid Certification, food truck/snow cone, and other required skills training
- Will include work on the food truck and/or special events including but not limited to Food Truck Location, Weekend Events, and/or Special Catering Orders
- Student Employees will be given a pre and post survey to gauge comprehension, learning, and retention of information
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders using slips or memorizing
- Deliver food and collect bill payments
- Meet with coworkers to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and services specifications
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guest
