Allies Pledge

The Boys as Allies Pledge is a public commitment to fostering a world free from gender-based violence. By signing, you’re taking a stand for equality, respect, and healthy relationships—and showing that preventing violence is everyone’s responsibility.

This pledge isn’t just symbolic. When you add your name, you help strengthen a growing movement that challenges harmful gender norms and promotes positive masculinity. Your support shows decision-makers, educators, and community leaders that these values matter—and that people are ready to take action.

Signing the pledge also helps us continue our work: it demonstrates public support for the educational programs, policy advocacy, and prevention efforts we lead across schools, workplaces, and communities.

Fill out the form below to show your support and to have your name recognized on the list of individuals who have taken the pledge.

How men can serve as ALLIES in prevention

  • Bystander Intervention:

Taking action to stop harmful behavior when you see it happening, like interrupting someone who makes a sexist remark in a conversation.

  • Speaking Up Against Harmful Stereotypes:
Challenging outdated ideas of masculinity that contribute to violence against women and girls.
  • Supporting Victims:
Offering support to those who have experienced sexual assault or domestic violence and encouraging them to find the help they need.
  • Advocating for Policy Change:
Working to change laws and policies that promote gender equality and protect against violence, such as those that address harassment in the workplace.
  • Educating Peers:
Sharing knowledge about healthy relationships, the concept of consent, and issues related to gender-based violence with friends and family.
  • Mentoring Younger Boys:
Being a positive role model for younger boys by showing them how to behave respectfully and what healthy relationships look like.
  • Participating in Prevention Programs:
Joining workshops and training sessions aimed at educating men and boys about gender violence and how they can be supportive allies.
  • Supporting Women’s Organizations:
Contributing time or resources to organizations dedicated to preventing violence against women and girls.
  • Challenging Harmful Media Portrayals:
Critically examining and speaking out against media representations
