Marketing & Events Coordinator
Job Type: part-time
📍 Hybrid – West Valley City, UT (20-25 hrs a week)
💲 $20-24/hr
⏰ 20-28 hrs a week
🗓️ Schedule: Monday – Friday, Weekends as needed
The role of the Marketing & Events Coordinator is pivotal to the sustainability and continued growth of FFCU in fulfilling its mission in positively influencing the lives of increasing numbers of program participants across a greater geographic area within Utah. As the Marketing & Events Coordinator you will assist the Executive Director in developing and executing the FFCU marketing and development (fundraising) strategy by completing the following duties:
- Familiarize oneself with and be able to confidently speak to the vision, mission, values, and services of FFCU.
- Development and refinement of FFCU marketing and development strategy.
- Updating, printing, and distribution of FFCU program marketing and fundraising materials.
- Coordination of marketing activities and events.
- Coordination, including on-site support, of fundraising events.
- Coordination of FFCU food truck location and staffing schedule(s).
- Researching and expanding FFCU contributor and potential contributor lists, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Coordination of and participation in non-directed fundraising campaign(s).
- Researching and expanding FFCU community partner and COI (centers of influence) lists.
- Coordination of and participation in community outreach campaign(s).

Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible, you must be enrolled at no less than the sophomore level in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications or a related field. Additionally, you should have completed a related internship or at six months of experience in closely related activities or a combination of related education and experience.
- Must have a valid ID.
- Must have the ability to travel to and from project sites.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience managing social media across multiple platforms
- Photography, videography, or website content experience
- Quick learner, Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
- Core marketing and non-profit development fundamentals
- Leadership capabilities
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Effectively work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Identify and process fundraising referrals and opportunities.
- Work and collaborate effectively with community leaders and volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and activities.
- Lead and effectively communicate with diverse groups of all sizes.
- Develop daily, monthly, and quarterly work schedules based upon FFCU marketing-development strategy.
