The Nurturing Fathers Program provides life skill training to underrepresented youth and empowers them to discover their personal strength, interpersonal skills, healthy relationships, and fullest potential.
The Nurturing Fathers Program provides two workshops tailored to the individuals of the class:
The Nurturing Fathers curriculum is an evidence based 13-week training course designed to teach parenting and nurturing skills to men. Each class provides proven, effective skills for healthy family relationships and child development in a class setting or a one-on-one coaching approach.
NFP also provides a workshop for teens based on the Wiseguys and Nurturing Fathers curriculums that provides life skill training to underrepresented youth ages 14-18. The workshop empowers youth to discover their personal strength, interpersonal skills, healthy relationships, and fullest potential.
The main objective of this program is to provide evidence based life skills training and community mentors to encourage students to reach their fullest potential as they develop into adulthood. The subjects that are focused on are:
* Age 14+
* Call and/or meet with NFP Coordinator
* Take Pre-Test
I have been doing great. I have actually been seeing my son twice a week for 4-8 hours depending on the day. Went through mediation and it went great. Really starting to be a part of my son's life.
