For Jared, teaching isn’t just about delivering information; it’s about helping people examine their assumptions, challenge biases, and make more intentional choices.

I was a very shy kid before I came here. I’m pretty sure if it weren’t for this I wouldn’t have gone to the yearbook.

Making my resume and learning about elevator speeches, learning about interview questions, and practicing for an interview helped me to build confidence

I got to learn from others and their interests. I also learned my skills and to communicate. Networking-this lesson was fun to learn and helpful. I learned to write a personal statement and organize it.

I was able to learn about possible future careers I was looking into and always ask questions and reach out to people and not be scared because others want to help as they have had to go through the process themselves.

I was skeptical at first, but the program has been immensely impactful on me and my responsibilities as a father. My mentor Paolo is an amazing man with so many life experiences that he graciously pours into our interactions/lessons.

Thank you to you and to all the staff for the life-changing work that Fathers & Family Coalition provides. I will be sharing my experience with so many other fathers that I know and urge them to sign up.

The Nurturing Fathers Program was so helpful to me in understanding who I am as a father. It helped me see areas where I felt I was a good father and improve in those areas. It also helped me understand where I had deficiencies or blind spots as a father and gave me the resources and skills to become better in these areas as well.

In addition to the skills learned from the program the environment of acceptance, support, and being surrounded by other fathers who were going through similar situations as me was beneficial to me in ways that allowed me to be vulnerable around other men and grow my emotional intelligence.

I truly appreciate everything I learned and everyone I met. I am a better person, man, and father because of these experiences.
